Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Provider Identification

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Nomos platform, a service operated by:

• Trade name: DETERMOS

Nomos is currently operated by an individual acting as a self-employed professional (autónomo) while a company is being incorporated. These identification details will be updated upon incorporation. Use of the service constitutes full acceptance of these terms.

2. Description of Service

Nomos is an AI-powered automated document generation platform. Features include, among others: structured document creation, image analysis, audio transcription, document translation, organization-level knowledge base management, and detection and preparation of public tenders (Licitaciones) based on data from public-sector sources.

Regarding public tenders: access to the tender radar is not included in the free tier — it requires an active Nomos Pro subscription (see section 5.8) or a separate Enterprise agreement. The tender information is obtained from public sources (notably the Spanish Plataforma de Contratación del Sector Público) and is provided for guidance only. Nomos does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or availability, and is not responsible for decisions made or deadlines missed based on it; the official source always prevails.

Nomos reserves the right to modify, expand, or withdraw features at any time.

3. Access and Registration

The service is intended solely for users who are 18 years of age or older. By registering, you confirm that you are of legal age and have the capacity to enter into this contract. Nomos is not directed at minors and does not knowingly process their data.

To access Nomos features, you must create an account with a valid, verified email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity carried out under your account.

Nomos reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms, misuse the service, or provide false information during registration.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Nomos lawfully and not to:

• Upload special categories of data (health, racial origin, beliefs, biometric, genetic data, criminal convictions) under Art. 9 GDPR.
• Upload personal data of third parties without an adequate legal basis and, in particular, without their consent or authorization.
• Generate illegal, defamatory, or hateful content, or content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to access other users' data or reverse-engineer the platform.
• Use the service for fraudulent activities or activities that violate applicable law.
• Resell or redistribute access to the platform without Nomos's express authorization.

5. Credits, Pricing, and Billing

Nomos operates on a credit model. Credits can be acquired in two ways: (i) as one-time prepaid packs, or (ii) through the recurring Nomos Pro subscription (see section 5.8). Credits are internal platform consumption units with no monetary value, non-redeemable for cash, and non-transferable to third parties. Credits do not constitute electronic money or a regulated payment instrument.

5.1 Welcome credits

Nomos may grant welcome credits (currently, 200) to users who complete email verification, as well as other promotional credits (for example, for inviting new users). Nomos may change their amount or withdraw these promotions at any time. Promotional credits are free of charge: they follow the same usage rules and validity as purchased credits but they are never refundable.

5.2 Available credit packs

Credits are purchased via one-time payment through Stripe. Available packs and prices (VAT included):

Nomos may modify packs, prices, and models at any time. Those shown here are indicative; each purchase is governed by the ones published on the pricing/billing page at the time it is made.

5.3 Standard and premium models

Access to certain AI models depends on the pack purchased. The specific models offered may change over time as providers update them; the up-to-date list is shown in the app:

• Standard models (available to all users): GPT-5.4 Nano, GPT-5.4 Mini.
• Premium models (require Standard pack or above): GPT-5.4. The Starter pack does not include premium model access.
• Enterprise models (Claude Haiku and Claude Sonnet): available only to Enterprise accounts under a separate agreement. Not included in any of the credit packs listed above.

5.4 Credit consumption

The number of credits consumed per operation varies depending on the AI model used and the type of operation. As a general reference, 1 credit is approximately equivalent to processing 1,000 tokens. Higher-capacity models apply a higher consumption multiplier (e.g., Nano models consume 0.5× per token, while more advanced models such as GPT-5.4 may consume up to 3× per token). Enterprise models may apply higher multipliers under separate terms. The consumption rates in force at any given time are those shown in the app, which prevail over the examples above.

5.5 Credit expiry

Purchased credits are valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Welcome credits are also valid for one year from the date of grant. Credits not used by the expiry date will automatically expire and be forfeited with no right to financial compensation or additional credits.

5.6 Refund policy

Payments for credits are non-refundable, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 calendar days from the purchase. By completing the purchase, you expressly request that the credits be made available immediately and accept that, if you withdraw within that period, the part of the service already used will be deducted: the refund will be proportional to the credits not yet consumed. Once the pack has been fully consumed, or once the 14-day period has elapsed, no refund applies. Free credits (welcome or promotional) are never refundable.

5.7 Service discontinuation

If Nomos permanently ceases to provide the service, it will notify users with reasonable advance notice so they can use their available credits before the closure date. If, on the effective closure date, a user still holds purchased credits that could not be used, Nomos will refund the proportional amount paid for them. Free credits (welcome or promotional) carry no right to refund or compensation of any kind.

5.8 Nomos Pro subscription

Nomos Pro is a paid subscription that, for a recurring fee, grants a monthly allocation of credits and access to features reserved for subscribers — in particular the public tender radar (search, monitoring, and generation of technical proposals from the tender documents) and unlocked premium models. It is contracted and paid through Stripe, and subscription prices are stated with VAT included. The current price, billing period (monthly or annual), the number of credits included, and the usage scope of the radar (such as how many CPV codes it monitors) are those shown on the pricing/billing page or in the app at the time of purchase, which prevail over any figure reproduced here.

• Automatic renewal: the subscription renews automatically for successive periods equal to the one contracted, and the corresponding fee is charged in advance to your payment method, until you cancel.
• Cancellation: you may cancel at any time from your billing page or by writing to nomos.servicedesk@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep access and benefits until then, and you will not be charged again.
• Included credits: the credits included in the subscription are added to your balance at the start of each billing period — they accumulate with any credits you already had — and their validity is extended to one (1) year from the most recent grant while the subscription remains active.
• Price changes: any change to the recurring price will be notified in advance and will apply from the next renewal; you may cancel before it takes effect if you do not accept it.
• Non-payment: if a charge fails, Nomos may suspend the subscription benefits until payment is regularized.
• Right of withdrawal: as a consumer you have 14 days to withdraw from the initial contract. Since the service starts immediately, by contracting and requesting immediate access you expressly consent to the start of performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed; if you withdraw during the 14 days while performance is ongoing, you will pay an amount proportional to what has been provided.

6. User Content and Data Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for the content they upload to Nomos: text, images, audio files, instructions, and any other material. Nomos does not proactively review or moderate uploaded content.

By uploading content, you declare and warrant that you have the necessary rights and authorizations to process it on the platform and to have it sent to AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) for document generation.

Nomos assumes no liability arising from AI-generated content. Documents produced by the platform are for guidance only and must be reviewed by the user before any professional, legal, medical, financial, or other critical use.

If you use Nomos as a business or professional and upload personal data relating to third parties, you act as the data controller and Nomos as your processor. That relationship is governed by our Data Processing Agreement, which forms an integral part of these terms and is accepted together with them (Art. 28 GDPR).

7. Intellectual Property

The service is provided under the domain nomosdoc.es, using Nomos as the commercial name of the platform. The source code, design, texts, graphics, and logos of the platform are the property of the provider and are protected by copyright and industrial property law. Reproduction, distribution, or transformation without express authorization is prohibited. The provider does not claim exclusive rights over the word "Nomos" itself beyond those the law grants it, and any third-party trademarks that may be mentioned belong to their respective owners.

Users retain all rights to the content they upload and to the documents generated from their content. Nomos does not claim ownership of documents produced by users using the platform. Nomos only accesses such content to the extent necessary to provide the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

9. Service Modifications

Nomos may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, at any time. For substantial changes that negatively affect users, Nomos will make a reasonable effort to provide sufficient advance notice.

Nomos may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Non-substantial changes take effect upon publication on this page. Substantial changes will be announced with reasonable advance notice and will require express re-acceptance upon login; if you do not accept them, you may stop using the service and, where applicable, cancel your subscription before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting nomos.servicedesk@gmail.com. Termination will result in deletion of your data within the timeframes set out in the Privacy Policy, unless there is a legal obligation to retain it. Unused credits will not be refunded, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law and, where applicable, European Union regulations. If you act as a consumer, any dispute will be heard by the courts determined by applicable consumer law (as a general rule, those of the consumer's domicile). For users acting as businesses or professionals, the parties submit, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction, to the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid (Spain).
